flogger

Use Google's Blogger platform as a pure CMS - fetch snippets of HTML to put into your existing page templates.

Installation

Bring in the library by adding the following to your build.sbt.

  • The release repository:
   resolvers ++= Seq(
     "Millhouse Bintray"  at "http://dl.bintray.com/themillhousegroup/maven"
   )
  • The dependency itself:
   libraryDependencies ++= Seq(
     "com.themillhousegroup" %% "flogger" % "0.1.0"
   )

Concepts

It's really important that you can test your how your content looks in a non-production environment before going live with it. To this end, flogger supports the idea of a "publish label" - a label you place on a blog post only when it has been checked out and is ready to display in production.

Usage

Once you have flogger added to your project, you can start using it like this:

foo
bar
baz

Credits

Google provides the Blogger platform at no charge. Flogger uses Scoup, another quality Millhouse Group product :-) Flogger uses the Play-JSON and Play-WS libraries.
